Phoenix Restoration Services is proud to be the first full service restoration company in Southwest Kansas. We now have locations that serve all of Western Kansas, Eastern Colorado, the Oklahoma Panhandle and a thriving franchise in Oklahoma City.   Phoenix Restoration was started in October of 1997.  At that time, there were a few janitorial and carpet cleaning companies offering minor restoration services.  In the event of large water and fire losses, most insurance companies would call restoration experts from as far away as Wichita to care for homeowners needs.  Back in 1997, we were partners in a carpet cleaning company that we had started with a friend two years earlier. During that early fall, we were on our way to catch a flight to New York City for a vacation when we had a conversation with a local insurance adjuster, like many great stories, started out trivial but ended up being life changing. The adjuster vented his frustration about carpet cleaners and janitorial companies not being available sooner for fire and water damages.   He lamented the fact that because no one responded quickly enough, many homeowners took unnecessary steps or risks to care for things themselves.  He ended by jokingly asking. “Why don’t you hire some more people to just handle water damage and fire for you?” So guess what we did?  Yep, we completely ignored his obvious hint, jumped on the plane and never thought twice about it as we partied our heads off in NYC!!! “In this day and age it is very difficult to find an individual much less a company that seems really concerned with making sure they give you great value.” “How refreshing to deal with someone that takes pride in their work . . “ “They did a very good, neat, cleaning job and the results were very noticeable . .” Then on our flight home, at 35,000 feet, we began to think about our work that waited when we got home. We started talking about those adjuster’s words and hatched the idea for Phoenix Restoration right there on an airplane cocktail napkin!  - That’s the actual napkin right there!   At least one side of it, anyway, drawings on the other side would reveal just how many in-flight cocktails we had. When we got home we sold our half of the carpet cleaning company to our partner and bought our very first van!  Our motto was simple.  “Total dedication to fire and water restoration”.  Our plan was clear - be the first “full time” disaster service company in Southwest Kansas.  We made the promise that if anyone had a fire or water damage they would be responded to immediately. We would get them back into their homes faster, and cut down on insurance costs by not letting damage grow because of lack of a fast response or restoration knowledge. Ten years later, Phoenix Restoration is known as the premier restoration company to call with any disaster services.  In addition to fire and water damage, we also clean and sanitize residential and commercial air duct systems, remediate mold projects, utilize the latest technology in air samples and testing and provide infrared camera inspections to detect leaks and energy loss. It’s been our great pleasure to grow as a company while serving peoples in need. This year we celebrate 10 years of service and offer our sincere thanks to the people of Garden City and the surrounding areas for helping us succeed and grow!
